At Unigate, we uphold a high ethical standard and professional integrity in maintaining secrecy and IP protection. Unigate respects IP rights, takes the IP protection seriously and emphasizes on enforcing various IP protection methods.
Among the specific steps taken by us as an offshore software development company are:
- Signing of NDA with potential customers
- Signing of authorship waiver agreements
- Secured computer network and monitored internet usage
- Each employee, upon being hired, undergoes an introductory course on IP rights and signs Contract which includes IP rights protection
We do not have any documented process but in the developer's working area, all CD drives, USB ports and floppy drives are disabled. Firewall is used for internet security and all developers are provided with limited internet access. General sites like Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail etc. are blocked for programmers. Also, apart from staff, nobody is allowed in the development area.
